This week during iTime, student groups came up with long lists of words that came to mind as they reflected on the year in math. I compiled all of the lists into a Wordle and this is how our thinking is represented:
The students are ready for the MAP test next week! We will begin on Tuesday with Math. I encourage all students to slow down in order to do their best thinking. They have all of the tools they need in their “math toolbox”. They should work out all problems carefully and check their work. I know that they will do GREAT!

Homeroom Notes
Students will participate in MAP testing April 13th – April 16th. Fifth grade students will be tested in the areas of Mathematics, Communication Arts, and Science. Please avoid student appointments on those dates, if possible.
