This week, we completed our unit of Hands-on Algebra. Students will receive a study guide on Monday. As always,students will receive 2 bonus points for returning the study guide with a parent signature by test day. This is a concrete,hands-on way to solve complex algebraic equations. Students are usually very successful using this method,and this year’s Red Team is no exception! We will begin next week by continuing our unit of Hands-on Algebra. Students will be introduced to the distributive property and how [...] This week,students worked with rounding whole numbers and decimals to the hundredths place. This would be a good skill to periodically work on with your child. We will begin next week by continuing to review addition and subtraction skills. We have made mathematical models and practiced writing decimals in standard,expanded,and word form,as well as comparing and ordering decimals. Students will help create a study guide on Tuesday.
